We drafted this after watching Midrand and Pinetown crews talk past each other about the same scrap pile. One team called it volume. The other called it impression. Same waste, different words. The note puts shared language on the bay card so the next handoff does not restart the argument.
Read the deck once, then run the short list: confirm substrate, confirm anilox screen, photograph the first good impression, and log exceptions before lunch. If colour is in play, walk the proof card with the colour lead. If plates are in play, separate the washout from the mount so damp does not write your scrap rate.
If load-shedding cuts the afternoon, protect the photo and the density note first. Pretty launch shots can wait for the next power window. Prefered practice is to keep the reject pocket labelled so bad webs do not re-enter the good roll stack.
